Statement on Black Lives Matter and the International Decade for People of African Descent

Thank you Cowichan Valley MLA Sonia Furstenau for bringing more attention to the International Decade for People of African Descent.

"Today I rose in the BC Legislature to talk about the UN Declaration International Decade for People of African Descent 2015–2024, Black Lives Matter, and what the Province can to recognize the historical and present contributions of Black communities in British Columbia."
