Join us as we celebrate the 6th year of the United Nations’ International Decade for People of African Descent at the second edition of the Regional Black Canadians Forum in the Capital Regional!

This Symposium will tackle the following topics: Black Ownership & Generating Wealth, Media Representation, Arts & Black Identity, Mental & Physical Health, Accessing Justice & Community Safety, Migration and Inclusion, Education Democratic Engagement, Access to Affordable Housing and Shelter.

The Decade is significant as it promotes respect, protection, and fulfillment of human rights of people of African Descent. We believe that this event is in line with the objectives of celebrating Black History Month. ***************** Une activité qui permettra de mobiliser les communautés noires de la Colombie Britannique et leur procurera l’unique opportunité de discuter des enjeux majeurs qui les occupent et d’impulser un dialogue provincial sur les urgences identifiées dans le plan stratégique de la décennie des personnes d’ascendances africaines, les solutions à engager pour une cohésion sociale, un développement inclusif, équitable et solidaire dans notre Province et le notre pays en général.
