La Teranga Food Basket Pick Up

Pick up your weekly food hamper every Thursday from 3:30 - 5:30pm at Issamba Centre (209-2722 Fifth Street, Victoria BC).

As a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the African Arts & Cultural Contributor Contributor Society is launching a new program called La Teranga. Every week from August - November, we are providing food baskets of culturally relevant food staples to members of the African descent and black community living in Victoria, Saanich, Langford, Duncan, and Nanaimo. To qualify, you have to be of African descent and be low-income.
